Graduate Student Journal of Higher Education
We are pleased to announce the inauguration of the Graduate Student Journal of Higher Education (GSJ), a peer-reviewed publication by the Center for the Future of Land-Grant Education at West Virginia University. Our goal is to promote graduate student research to join in the conversations that advance the field of higher education. We invite you to be a part of this endeavor.
The GSJ's annual summer volume will include original empirical research, comparative studies, theoretical articles, and brief reports in the following areas of higher education:
- Sociohistorical and Cultural Context
- Governance and Leadership
- Economics and Finances
- Public Policy
- Diversity Issues in Higher Education
- Extension and Engagement
- Curriculum, Teaching, and Learning Outcomes
- College Access and Retention
- Student Success and Development

- The Academic Profession
Submissions are accepted on a rolling basis at gradjournal.orgs.wvu.edu and reviewed blind. Please see the submission guidelines at gradjournal.orgs.wvu.edu/submissions.
To ensure your submission is reviewed for the current issue, we encourage you to submit your final paper by December 10. Submissions received after the deadline will be considered for a later volume. Questions may be addressed to the managing editor at HigherEducationJournal@mail.wvu.edu.
